This dramatic Master Bedroom was designed by Senior Interior Designer Lloyd Hodgkinson. The brief from Lloyd’s clients was to create a luxurious space where they could relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. Lloyd executed a monochromatic colour scheme that kept the style of the room smart and uncomplicated. To achieve this style, Lloyd had the entire bedroom wallpapered in an off-white faux-silk wallpaper. Texture and interest were then added through the use of a white quilted bedspread, black sheer curtains and a charcoal ribbed rug in art-silk. The finishing touches were added by beautiful polished chrome bedside lamps and a collection of luxurious scatter cushions on the bed. Like all projects by the designers at John Croft Design, the attention is in the detail: charcoal silk lampshades and custom-made bed valance both trimmed with contrasting gross-grain ribbon. A dramatic collection of photographic artworks featuring semi-precious stones are hung in a collection above the custom-made bedhead. Needless to say that Lloyd’s clients were both thrilled with the results!
