Creating a space such as a master suite, from the first nail to the placing of the last cushion, requires intuitive skill and an on point assessment of what will appeal to the client’s unique tastes. John Croft’s Senior Interior Designer Lloyd Hogkinson went above and beyond, when his creative talent was unleashed on this Far North Queensland property. Complete with an ensuite, walk in robe and kitchenette, the scope for where to take the project was an exciting one for the John Croft designer of 10 years.

A brief that asks the designer to build a space from concept to completion is every designers dream, and Lloyd relished the opportunity to weave his magic. With full reign over all aspects of the project, including building works, layout, cabinetry, and finishing with the selection of fabric and furnishings, Lloyd was in his element. His blending of light unobtrusive furnishings and fabrics, allowing lots of natural light throughout, creates a space that captures the calm and peace of the local area, as requested by the client. An intermingling of aquamarine hues upon the walls, with hints of warm earthy tones throughout, complete with stand-alone bathtub overlooking a green leafy tree-scape, creates a space that pleases the senses…
