Country Living in the City

Senior interior designer Kylie Mann of John Croft Design decorated a sophisticated pole house by adding a “modern twist” with vibrant colours to the country home.  A delightful entryway welcomes guests with carefully curated art pieces that complement the lines of the ingeniously designed front door. A vibrant rug greets guests cheerfully with a colourful floral pattern. In the family room the soothing earth tones of the walls, the Mount Cotton stone hearth and larger furniture pieces are brought to life with the addition of the lively carpet. The striped chair and ottoman are reminiscent of colourful flowers in a country meadow.

Bright and cheery accessories such as the smiling dog statue on the coffee table, a set of merry bird statues on a side table and a quirky painted table lamp add to the fun and friendly atmosphere. A modern dining set, with seating for eight, appropriately placed in the great room between the modern kitchen and the family room sets the perfect stage for delightful gatherings with friends and family. But, the entertaining does not stop there! An enchanting outdoor deck is equipped with a state of the art BBQ and a gorgeous mosaic dining table and durable seating for many more hours of joyous entertaining.

When looking for a talented designer to decorate your home to your specifications, look no further than the brilliant team members of John Croft Design.
